Download your Google Photos Takeout
Google’s interface can change, so confirm labels in Google Takeout before starting a large export.
- Open Google Takeout and deselect all products.
- Select Google Photos and review the included albums.
- Choose ZIP archives and an archive size suitable for your storage.
- Create the export and download every ZIP part into one folder.
- Do not rename, edit, or partially extract archive parts before scanning.
Never share Takeout archives: they may contain private media, filenames, timestamps, albums, and location metadata.
